Education

From early first trimester until your final weeks of pregnancy, being knowledgable of your care is vital. Learn more about what to expect and look for during your pregnancy.

"My husband and I completed this childbirth education course in preparation for the birth of our first child. Throughout the entire six week course, Esther was patient, informative and extremely encouraging. She really helped to ease any concerns or fears that I had going into the birthing process. In her course, she covers all the bases, and ensures that each parent has a firm understanding of the different types of birth, medical interventions, benefits of breastfeeding, and general infant care in those early newborn days. When I had to be induced at 37 weeks due to high blood pressure, instead of feeling afraid or helpless, I had a sense of security because of all of the knowledge I took away from the course. My husband and I knew what questions to ask, what to expect from the process, and we were able to to adapt to the situation as it developed. I highly recommend this course to any first time parents, and even parents with children already. Esther is a professional who recognizes that there is always more to learn, and is very intentional about providing families with the most up to date information regarding childbirth. We're very thankful that we were able to bring our little girl into the world confidently and with such overwhelming support and encouragement."

Esther lead my childbirth education class this past year, and she was so amazing! In addition to going over all the basic child birth education I feel like a good class should cover, she made us feel loved, supported, safe, and helped us learn what we felt we needed to know to be able to make informed decisions about our birthing process. I had a medical condition with my pregnancy that would normally allow for the unmedicated vaginal delivery I had planned for, but there was a decent chance it could mean a last minute induction or c-section instead, so I wanted to know about vaginal delivery, natural pain management, medical pain management, induction options, and c-sections. Esther graciously and wisely covered all that I wanted to know, without pushing just one way of delivering a baby, only supporting whatever I needed in my specific situation. She took the time to answer our questions for my detailed personality, without loosing my to-the-point husband also. I knew she cared about us and our baby. She had done her research to have credible resources and information to share, and if she wasn't certain about something she was honest and helped us find the answers we needed. I could not recommend her more! I trust Esther and that's worth a lot.
